OCR & Imaging

Optical Character Recognition (OCR) refers to a process of converting printed documents into text files which can be subsequently electronically edited and stored.

Instead of retyping a printed document, OCR techniques allow users to add physical documents to their electronic records using a scanner. Once paper-based documents have been scanned in, they can be far more easily stored, searched, edited and retrieved than their printed counterparts, saving end-users a considerable amount of valuable time.
